Build your portfolio of tiny startups
I was only half-joking with the tweet below. I do highly recommend building a portfolio of profitable and bootstrapped tiny startups (especially when you’re just starting out).
Too many people worry about starting a company or building the next big thing, when instead they should be focused on making their first $500 with a tiny startup first.
You only need 10 side-projects making $500/month to make $5,000 every month 🤷♂️
Stop obsessing over the next big thing and just build that portfolio of tiny startups bro

Looks like this revenue is for Community Forest — a fun project where you can plant a tree and 100% of the profits are donated to reforestation (this isn’t verified and I hope this is truly the case). Looks like 166/1000 trees have already been planted.

Eric hit $36M ARR in 45 days
Genspark (shared above in Income Reports) claims to have hit $36M ARR in just 45 days. Looks like they’ve been around for a few years and have raised between $60M-$100M so they’re not exactly bootstrapped or a tiny startup for that matter. Still a pretty cool achievement though. Also their product looks slick 👌.

Meghan went from $0 to $50k in 6 months
She built Mindful Sudoko: a “mindful sudoku journal for daily calm”. Pretty simple idea but executed incredibly well.
Looks like she went viral on Twitter and TikTok in December 2024 which helped boost her sales and get her past the $10k mark. Read more about her marketing strategy here.
