Siya just sold his first SaaS at 18
The SaaS was GenPPT — an AI PowerPoint generator that helps you turn any idea into a polished and professional presentation. He launched back in May 2024.
I’ve read reports that claim his ARR was in 6-figures with over 45,000 users though I’m not sure how much he finally sold it for. Still a pretty cool achievement regardless of the exit price.
Announcing the acquisition on X seems to have paid off dividends as well — Siya gained over 5k followers since the announcement. Building in public can be such a powerful tool to build an audience.

Bhanu runs a portfolio of tiny startups with SiteGPT being the largest (shared above) and made $16,723 in May. Some really solid numbers and bound to increase once his newer projects MCPify pick up.
Made $16.7k in April 2025.

Competition is a good thing
Too many founders worry about the competition when they’re coming up with ideas and preparing to launch. Competition can be a good thing — it means the idea is already validated and the market wants / needs what you’re building and is willing to pay for it.
On the other hand, I would be very worried if there was no competition.
5 competitors?
So what? Launch the app anyway.
What are you after? I'm still making $550 MRR on CoverLetterGPT even though there are dozens of competitors.

Lera hit $17k MRR in May
Lera runs Clipwing (shared above) that helps you “create dozens of short clips from your raw long videos in minutes”. She struggled to grow the app side of the business until she decided to pivot to a productised service model / video agency. The business now makes over $17k MRR with 5 editors employed (and $6k profit). Super impressive.
i spent a year trying to grow @clip_wing app – nothing worked. i gave myself 1 last month: try something new or shut it down
in may 2024 i launched a video agency. 1 editor, 0 mrr, 0 clients
in may 2025: 5 editors, $17k MRR ($6k profit)
feels unreal 😭 so happy i didn’t quit!!

Sergey crossed $3k in revenue
Sergey is building Screen Charm — a cool app that lets you create screen recordings with zoom effects. There are a few similar apps out there (Screen Studio is probably the largest) but it’s cool to see an indie maker building an alternative and making a decent income from it. So far 117 people have paid $29-$49 for a “lifetime” license in ~2 months since launch.
hey gang, my screen recorder app crossed $3000 in revenue
117 successful payments
6 refundsone week ago i increased one time price from $29.90 to $49.90
since that i received 5 sales with the new price
my wife made me celebration pancakes 🥞
life is good, have a great

Li just hit $500k in total revenue
Li runs a “tiny” design studio and hit $500k in total revenue. Her top 5 tips:
Distribution > Product/Services
Network > Website traffic
Trust is built over time
Series A > Seed > Bootstrapped
System is everything
My little studio just hit $500K total revenue.
Last year today, I was still scared to go full in.
5 things I wish I knew before I started:
1. Distribution > Product/Services
You can be the best designer in the world, but if no one sees your work, it doesn’t matter.
Spend 2x
