😻 Posts We Loved This Week
Here’s what stood out…
------
1. How long did it take you to get to your current revenue?
Lukas asked founders on X what their revenue is and how long did it take them to get there. Some super interesting answers (and projects) in the comments, click through to read them all.

2. Is “Build-in-public” the wrong move?
Nikita Bier & Jason Fried argue that “Build-in-public” is the wrong move for newer or early stage products. I have mixed feelings about BIP, and most founders use it as an alternative marketing channel these days instead of actually building in public. Click through to read the full posts and let me know what you think?

3. The first sale is the sweetest
Andrew just made the first sale for his new SaaS called Social Revenue. The first payment is always the sweetest and one that you’ll never forget. Hope he manages to keep the momentum going, and looking forward to seeing him at $100 MRR soon.

4. Mat hit $29k MRR with portfolio of “Wide” apps
Matt just reached $29k MRR with his tiny portfolio of Shopify apps. He runs WideBundle (Shopify product bundle app) and WideReview (a reviews and testimonial carousel widget). Looking forward to seeing him at $30k MRR soon.

5. How to get started with B2C Apps
I recently came across a cool article by Ernesto where he shares how he built 10 apps in 10 months (and supposedly makes $800k/year doing it). While I couldn’t verify his revenue, the article was a good read with some interesting points. He talks about:
Idea validation
Building your app + tool stack
Launching and marketing
